Biography
"In the summer of 2010, I embarked on a new journey in the United States as a refugee, arriving at JFK airport with a dream to build a better life. The immigration officer's question, "What are you planning to do?" will forever be etched in my memory. My answer was simple, "I want to be an architect."
As a designer, my purpose is to use design to bring attention to global issues and empower people in the 21st century. I strongly believe in the values of resilience, perseverance, education, openness, community, society, and the environment.
I am an architect with a passion for the universal language of design in a world driven by algorithms. My love for design pushes me to constantly explore new ideas and techniques, from small products to large-scale urban planning. I specialize in computational design, data art, and parametric architecture and am always researching innovative design methodologies that blend the relationship between humans and computers, mimicking our natural, instinctual ways of life."
